Stop cold air at the foundation

Rim joists have seams, pipe openings and small framing gaps that can pull cold air into the basement. The result can be chilly floors, drafts along outside walls and extra work for the heating system.

We use closed-cell spray foam along basement rim joists. Its dense layer seals irregular openings, resists moisture and stays bonded in place where the framing meets the foundation.

How it works

From first call to clean finish

Four steps, and you know what is happening at each one.

  1. Talk it over

Tell us about the building and what bothers you: cold rooms, high bills, drafts or damp.

  2. Look and quote

We look at the space, recommend open-cell or closed-cell foam and give you a written quote.

  3. Prep and spray

We cover what needs covering, spray the foam and trim it where it needs to be flush.

  4. Clean up

We clean up the work area and walk you through what was done before we leave.
