A more comfortable house starts at the attic

Warm air rises, and gaps around the roof deck, attic floor and framing let it escape. That can leave rooms drafty, make the furnace run longer and allow summer heat to build above the ceiling.

We normally use open-cell spray foam between attic rafters because it expands into irregular gaps and creates a continuous air seal. Where moisture resistance or limited space calls for a denser material, we may recommend closed-cell foam after looking at the roof and ventilation.

How it works

From first call to clean finish

Four steps, and you know what is happening at each one.

  1. Talk it over

Tell us about the building and what bothers you: cold rooms, high bills, drafts or damp.

  2. Look and quote

We look at the space, recommend open-cell or closed-cell foam and give you a written quote.

  3. Prep and spray

We cover what needs covering, spray the foam and trim it where it needs to be flush.

  4. Clean up

We clean up the work area and walk you through what was done before we leave.
